It has been stored in a clean garage, looks nice, complete, ready for service.
The shop is no longer in business, but have alot of tools left over.
I can tell you this for certain:
transmissions need fluid changes and filters just like engine oil, not as often but definitally as a regular service.
Most shops that ive encountered dont want to service a transmission, they just want to condemn your trans and sell you a new trans, with inflated price plus rounded up labor; thousands of dollars, and then act like theyre doing you a favor when in fact they ripped you off and you paid for a vacation.
However, if you change your trans fluid say every every 30,000, a good brand trans doesnt fail.
If your a shop, and your an honest one, then youll appreciate what im selling and sharing, if your not the honest shop, just know you can fool some people sometimes.
