Good condition, used Tracrac Generation One system with any size aluminum rails, two aluminum sliding cross members and cantilever.
This rack has the sought after early non-powder coated upright and cantilever, so they can never chip.
The rack has normal wear and tear from use, but these systems last forever and can be easily transferred from truck to truck.
The rack is complete with all end caps, screws, knobs, mounting hardware even the 9/16" plugs that cover the holes in the rails for the cap screws.
These are Tracrac's standard-height cross members and are 27" from the bottom of the base rail to the top of the cross member.
The forward cross-member has a small gusset that won't interfere with an across the bed tool box.
The rear cross-member has a second, full length strut for extra strength.
Both cross-members adjust for different width beds by loosening three bolts on each side and can be easily removed from the truck.
This system can handle over 1000 pounds with ease and comes complete with the ladder rack tie downs, all knobs, etc.
Comes complete with the Tracrac standard bed pocket mounting hardware (4 Stainless Steel screws, rubber blocks and bed pocket nuts) or, using a direct mount, can easily be bolted to your bed for a permanent installation.
If you want to go with direct mount, I carry a kit of shorter 3/8 stainless steel cap bolts (the same style as the ones in use with the Tracrac rubber blocks) just for this as well as stainless steel washers and nuts with a nylon insert to prevent them from loosening and can help install the rack if you like.
This rack comes complete with the correct length rails necessary for your truck.
Some Chevy trucks have a step in the bumper and an extra long stake pocket in the back which requires a special bracket, which I have.
Everything works as it should and any parts needing replacements have been replaced, so you can focus on work, not having to fix things or wait for parts to come in.
If you need instructions on installing it yourself, or a hand installing the rack, just let me know.
Many new trucks have asymmetrical beds and the front of the bed can be as much as 3 1/2 wider than the back.
There are also certain tonneau covers that work well with a Tracrac and some that don't work, so installs may not be straight forward.
I charge only $75 for a standard rack install and only $100 for a rack with a cantilever install.
The rack comes complete with two sets of sliding tie downs.
There are a full set of accessories for this system: sliding cargo tie downs, cantilever attachment, canoe carrier, tool box, bed/headache rack, ratcheting straps, locking knobs.
I carry the sliding cargo tie downs and tool box mounts.
I also install the Tracrac mounts on your tool box, or one of mine, and mount them.
If you have an existing rack and need a knob, set of tie downs, etc.
I have replacement parts here.
Parts are also available, both on-line and locally if you ever need them.
If you reply to this ad, to make sure you get the right rack, please let me know the year/make/model of your truck, the distance between the top of the base rail (near the cab) and the top of the cab and inside the bed, the distance between the front of the bed and the tailgate.
Racks with cantilevers go fast, so if you want one, it is best not to wait.
