*Summary of Position:* The Marketing Associate role involves supporting the Marketing Manager and Senior Leadership Team in various tasks.
This includes coordinating diverse events such as budtender activations, community engagements, and grand openings, alongside managing in-store marketing efforts like designing menu banners and distributing promotional materials.
Additionally, the role entails analyzing monthly data reports, contributing to a consistent blog schedule, managing inventory, creating email campaigns, and assisting with design tasks for various marketing materials.
Candidates are required to have experience with design software, a portfolio demonstrating their skills, and prior event planning experience.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* *Event Coordination - *Assist in all event planning & attend events in multiple markets (MA, RI, CT, etc) * Budtender Activations * COAST Internal Events * COAST Retail Events * Sponsored Events * Community Events (road races, concerts, Senior Center Activations, etc) * Grand Openings / Anniversaries * Other tasks assigned by management *In-Store / Menu Marketing - *Assist in increasing in-store awareness through: * Tv design * Take away postcards * Displays * Activations * Menu Banner Designs * Dropping off new material when needed * Other tasks assigned by management *Analytics - *Assist in monthly analytic reports for the following: * Learn Brands * I Heart Jane * Surfside * Social Media * Email marketing * Hubspot menus * Other tasks assigned by management *Blog - *Assist in creating a consistent blog schedule through: * Recap COAST events (volunteer, give backs, beach cleans, etc) * COAST Features (Boston Mag, news, articles, podcasts, etc) * Education * Other tasks assigned by management *Inventory - *Assist in keeping track of all COAST marketing inventory: * Educational takeaways * Swag (sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, stickers, pins, etc) * Un-infused samples * Able to place re-orders when needed * Other tasks assigned by management *Email Marketing - *Assist in creating new weekly emails for: * Hubspot Menu * Mailchimp * Other tasks assigned by management *Design - *Assist in designing: * Menu banners * Postcards * TV Marketing * Powerpoints * Social Media Content * Swag * Other tasks assigned by management *Social Media - *Assist in creating new campaign ideas to increase engagement: * Lifestyle * In-store * Events * Behind the scenes * Long term campaigns (Women’s History Month, Black History Month, Holiday Gift Guides, etc) * Other tasks assigned by management *Requirements:* * Experience with: Canva / Adobe Illustrator * *Portfolio / examples required* * Experience with event planning * Understanding of Cannabis and cannabis products.
* Computer proficiency, email and associated programs.
* Use Google suite (sheets, slides, docs) * HubSpot including the app * Public speaking and presentation techniques * Relationship building * Other tasks assigned by management *Education & Experience:* * College degree in Marketing and/or Communications preferred.
* 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
