We have an immediate full-time opening for an experienced Inside Sales professional in our Canton MA location.

The Inside sales position is responsible for expanding relationships with current customers, developing new customers, and providing excellent customer service with product expertise.

Responsibilities
* Work cooperatively with management, all other branch and division personnel, and outside sales reps to grow existing customers, create new customers, and increase customer satisfaction
* Respond to customer inquiries at the sales counter, by phone and by email
* Process customer orders, check availability of stock, shipping dates, quote pricing, fill orders to customer specifications
* Apply mechanical principles to address customer needs
* Provide solutions and recommend new and better products
* Provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications
* 2-5 years of experience in the industrial distribution industry or an allied industry a plus
* Experience in applying power transmission components to solve industrial applications, including speed reducers, brakes, pulleys, sprockets, gearing and electric motors a plus
* Experience with Epicor Prophet 21or similar distribution software preferred, but not required
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills
* Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* High school diploma or equivalent
