Sales Manager - Transmission & Distribution

is currently searching for a sales team member to be based in CT, NH, or MA.
As part of the Transmission & Distribution sales team you will have an exciting opportunity to work with the major utilities and renewable players in the energy industry from large scale offshore wind projects and smart grid applications to state-of-the art transmission and distribution solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact Drive Transmission & Distribution solutions and products sales coverage for the North Atlantic Region.
Support daily PSS operations, including account plan support, sales campaigns, event support, and Business Area support.
Develop communications, marketing material, and trainings.
Ensure adequate and appropriate sales materials have been compiled and are presented in a meaningful way to sales.
Maintain proper tracking mechanisms to report on initiative status.
Coordinate roll-out of initiatives to the sales organization to ensure that the business areas and PSS are coordinated.
Identify and drive project management for strategic growth areas capture teams for Siemens Energy within the US.
Work with the business unit to explore areas for growth.
Assist in putting together conference / sales meeting agendas of topics in a meaningful and strategic way.
What You Bring 3+ years Sales, Marketing, Engineering or Operations experience Electric Utilities or Renewable Energy industry preferred Ability to build, grow and maintain strong relationships Excellent communicator (verbal and written), ability to lead this defined strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of proposal responses and contract negotiations Ability to travel up to 30% domestically (mostly day trips) with occasional international travel to our manufacturing facilities in Mexico, Germany, Italy, or Brazil Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

In Power Systems Sales, we enable Siemens Energy to reach it’s order entry targets by providing best-in class account management and business development expertise across a variety of customers, including, but not limited to, Utilities, Independent Power Producers, Data Centers, Transmission System Operators, Oil & Gas, and other Industrial Verticals.
