*Role and Responsibilities *
As sales support role for the Marathon LS Service team, you are a crucial part for ensuring smooth operations and successful business development.
This is a sales and operational role that will be in contact with all service Customers providing communication, quotes, and updates.
This position will report to the Service Manager.
*Responsibilities:*
· Act as a liaison between the field service team and customers.
· Respond to customer inquiries, providing information about services, pricing, and scheduling.
· Communicate with customers to understand their needs and gather relevant information for the field service team.
· Prepare and send quotes for capital equipment, instrument repairs & maintenance, as well as service contracts.
· Work closely with the sales team to assist in preparing service-related proposals.
· Ensure accuracy in pricing and details provided in quotes and proposals.
· Process orders for equipment repairs and service contracts.
· Coordinate with the operations team to schedule repairs and service visits.
· Track and manage order status, keeping customers informed about the progress of their service requests.
· Collaborate with field service technicians to gather technical information for customer inquiries.
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and service details.
· Collaborate with the field service team to ensure they have all necessary information and resources for successful equipment repairs.
· Use CRM software to manage customer accounts, update contact information, and track customer interactions.
· Assist in building and maintaining strong customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
· Stay updated on the latest developments in lab equipment technology and repairs.
· Provide training to customers on basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
· Gather customer feedback on the quality of service provided.
· Share feedback with the field service and operations teams for continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing sales and expanding the customer base.
· Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional services or products.

· Provides exceptional Customer Service
· Ability to present self professionally and be an ambassador of the MarathonLS brand especially when face to face with customers.
· Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Oracle or other ERP systems.
NetSuite experience a plus.
· Highly collaborative and understands the value in working together with internal teams to achieve company targets.
· Basic technical knowledge
· Strong communication (oral and written), organizational, project management and team building skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
00 - $65,000.
