This key role is responsible for sales and administration support for our Independent*
*Sales Team.

*Responsibilities:*
*Independent Sales Support & Administration*
* Use analytical skills to identify gaps and distribution voids within our Independent Customers
* Assist with quarterly programs by identifying opportunities vs prior year, and variances with similar customers.
* Utilize our Business Intelligence (BI) to identify specific assortment gaps within categories, brands and Items for our Top Independent Customers
* Assist with pricing analysis, margin enhancement, and pricing contracts
* Quarterly program pricing support, vendor requests, approvals and follow-up.
* Customer Engagement: Generate quarterly business updates for top tier Customers
* Timely creation of business review materials
* Follow up on vendor requests
* Assist in developing materials for Holiday and Chex Tradeshow programs
* Assist with New Business lead coordination and tracking

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Must be confident in preparing reports in Excel that require V-lookups, Filters, Pivot tables, and if/then commands.
