Food Service Sales Representative

Our company is looking for a foodservice sales representative that has K12 knowledge, to be responsible for meeting sales goals.
Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of the K12 sales process and dynamics, and also strong interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in K12 foodservice sales role is an advantage.
*Sales Representative Responsibilities:* * Increasing market share for items represented.
* Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
* Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
* Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
* Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
* Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
* Answering client questions about features and benefits of products and their cost.
* A K-12 knowledge and knowing how K-12 schools operate with a knowledge of commodities *Sales Representative Requirements:* * Experience in the kitchen preferred.
* Experience in foodservice sales preferred.
* A commitment to excellent customer service.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
* Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
* Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
* Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
