Project Billing & Account Specialist

_We are looking for a Project Billing & Accounting Specialist for North America.
Join our Finance team as a Credit Controller and play a crucial role in driving efficiency, and ensuring seamless day-to-day financial operations.
_ *Function* As a Project Billing & Accounting Specialist, your primary focus will be on managing this portfolio, your dedication as a team player means you'll readily lend a hand to colleagues in different capacities whenever required – just as they would for you.

This role spans the entire credit-to-cash spectrum: from assessing client acceptance, navigating successful opportunities, to overseeing contract and project management, as well as managing invoicing and collections.
Furthermore, your ability to grasp the holistic view within your area sets you apart.
Your close collaboration with our Sales and Services departments will allow you to optimally support their operations.
Likewise, they'll provide you with the same level of support.

You will be a successful Senior Project Billing & Accounting Specialist by: * Efficiently manage Credit Control: contact customers, track disputes, and report on debts, highlighting potential risks.
Moreover, maintaining master data on customers, contracts and projects; * Proactively use reports to minimise overdue/delayed activities; * Timely and accurate processing of orders into executable contracts and project setups; * Understand and proactively respond to details and risks in customer contracts and orders; * Billing of projects and contracts; * First-line support for daily queries from internal and external stakeholders; * Maintain oversight of the workload, issues and other kpi’s in your area.

Our ideal candidate meets the following requirements: * A relevant Bachelors’ degree * A minimum of 5 years working experience as a Project Billing & Accounting Specialist or Credit Controller; * Thorough knowledge of invoicing and dunning processes * A good understanding of contract and project management puts you higher on our list.
* Within the Credit to Cash process, we use the SFDC platform (SalesForce, FinancialForce and Billing Central), Exact and Trust-it.
A definite plus if you have worked with any of these applications * You are fluent in English * You are well organized and know how to prioritize.
