com/ *Job Summary:* Fishlinked Angler Center is in search of a knowledgeable and people oriented Sales Associate who shares our passion for fishing.
As a Sales Associate, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and ensuring that every customer leaves our store with the right gear for their particular fishing outing.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* 1.
Customer Engagement: - Stands and greets customers when they enter the store.
- Engage customers in conversation to understand their fishing needs and preferences.
- Offer personalized recommendations on fishing equipment, tackle, bait, and accessories.
- Provide advice on fishing techniques, local fishing spots, and regulations.
(We will provide you a list of our recommendations prior to start date) 2.
Product Expertise: - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our product range, including fishing rods, reels, lines, lures, and other essentials.
- Explain features and benefits of different tackle outfits to customers.
- Assist customers in selecting the right gear based on their skill level, fishing environment, and target species.

Sales and Inventory Management: - Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
(We will provide training around our POS system) - Upsell additional items when possible.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
- Maintain organized and clean displays to showcase our products effectively including daily maintenance such as sweeping or wiping down glass surfaces.

Store Operations Support: - Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and restocking shelves.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer service.

- Work together to exceed customer expectations.
*Qualifications:* - A genuine passion for fishing, with knowledge of fishing gear and techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Basic math skills.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, including fishing equipment.
*Education:* - High school diploma or equivalent.
