The Demand Planning & Category Analysis Manager creates product forecasts to support product launches, conducts category analyses to inform marketing plans, and leads modeling efforts for pricing changes! This individual will support various groups within the organization including, but not limited to, Category Management/Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Planning: Product Forecasting & Modeling
Create demand plan models and product-level forecasts for market tests and national product launches using data-driven analytics and input from Category Management/Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and franchisees
Lead the Forecasting Task Force and present forecasts and gain consensus from key stakeholders, including franchisees
Own and refine the demand planning model based on Baskin-Robbin’s business needs, including accounting for lost sales, DC changes, new shop openings, etc.
Summarize the exposure risks for product launches and create scenario plans and make recommendations to mitigate risk
Analyze the performance of demand plans post-promotion to establish key learnings and best practices and refine the demand planning model
Partner with Dunkin’ Demand Planning to understand areas of opportunity across both brands
Category Analyses
Work collaboratively with Category Management/Marketing, Supply Chain, and external partners to provide real time sales analysis during product launches to help manage inventory levels
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track product sales and shipments
Conduct analyses on product launches and product lines across the Baskin-Robbins business to inform future marketing activities
Create regular reports and ad hoc analyses to support Category Management/
arketing team, including Quarterly Marketing report and competitive analyses
Analyze product mix and product line performance and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives
Synthesize category and competitive research and insights to inform Category Management/Marketing initiatives
Pricing Models & Analyses
Partner with Finance, Revenue Management, and Category Management/ Marketing to build pricing models and determine the SRPs across all product lines
Inform the optimal price points for all product lines and assess the impact on profitability
Lead pricing communications with franchisees, including pricing letters and webinars
Maintain a P&L mindset, including a comprehensive understanding of product offerings, pricing and channels, and cost drivers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 4-year degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Marketing, and/or Research.
4-5 years of experience in finance/supply chain/marketing analysis/demand planning.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES
Retail or QSR industry is a plus.
Strong communication skills; including presenting to cross-functional teams, executive-level stakeholders, and franchisees.
Experience working with large data sets and creating financial models.
Attention to detail & strong analytical skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
