As a Senior Manager, Sales Planning at Ocean Spray, you will lead the strategic planning and financial analysis efforts of the company.
Your main responsibility will be to develop comprehensive business plans, forecast financial performance, and identify growth opportunities.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, serving as a primary Business Partner.
Additionally, you will guide the Sales Planning team in implementing trade marketing plans that align with company objectives.
By leveraging your advanced financial modeling skills, strategic mindset, and leadership abilities, you will play a pivotal role in driving success and profitability.

Manage and develop the Sales Planning team Guide teams and drive trade execution: identify opportunities for near-in efficiencies, develop actionable recommendations, and lead execution / change management of strategic revenue management initiatives Deliver trade efficiency improvements and other corporate trade targets as defined Pressure test solutions and drive for improving the “what” and “how” we do; foster a continuous improvement mindset Build strong cross-functional relationships and serve as primary Business Partner on trade execution to US Commercial Teams, presenting at Step 2, MBR, QBR, and other needed routines Ensure accurate reporting of trade execution and performance, including understanding of financial accruals, settlement processes for Food Service and Retail businesses, and ROI measurement What We Are Looking For: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study 7+ years of experience in Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, FP&A, Analytics or equivalent 4+ years in US Food & Beverage CPG 2+ years leading and managing teams Strong command and knowledge of trade strategies within US Food and Beverage CPG – working and non-working trade, slotting, sales execution, price/pack architecture, channel strategies Knowledge of marketing, category management, demand forecasting, and sales within US Food and Beverage CPG Strong understanding of corporate finances: customer P&Ls, drivers of Net Sales and COGS, balance sheet implications of promotional investments Strong knowledge of syndicated and POS data Experience with Leadership and coaching of Teams Strong oral and written communication; ability to lead discussions and influence decision making with stakeholders at all levels Drive for results and owns getting to the right solution for the cooperative Builds trusted relationships throughout the cooperative Strong in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Power BI or other reporting tools knowledge Experience using Trade Management Systems, example: Blacksmith Education: Bachelor's or University Degree (Required) Work Experience: Years of Experience: At least 7 Years of Experience Benefits: Complete insurance package on Day-1 that includes a plethora of health and wellness programs Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Health savings account Flexible spending account Life and accident insurance Employee assistance program Telehealth services Fertility benefits Transgender benefits 1:1 health coaching and more 401(k) with up to 6% Company matching; additional potential discretionary match at year-end Short-Term Incentive/Performance bonuses Flexible scheduling options Vacation pay, up to three weeks of time (pro-rated for your first year of employment) Holiday pay for 12 holidays Career development and growth opportunities Tuition/Education assistance programs Access to LinkedIn Learning Scholarship programs for children of employees Parental leave Bright Horizons Family Solutions – Back-up care, tutoring, etc.
