Requirements: JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Membership Director, Welcome Center Representative is responsible for providing a welcoming, engaging, and safe atmosphere for current and prospective members.
Welcome Center Representative will support the onboarding process of new members providing a means to achievement, belonging and character connections for all.
These team oriented engagement specialists will value ease of business for our membership and will contribute to achievement of membership and financial objectives to help drive impact.
Welcome Center Representative will display the character traits of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
JOB FUNCTION: 1.
Program/Department Responsibilities: .
Engage members by creating a welcoming environment .
Provide resources to foster goal achievement .
Use Listen First skills to communicate Y offerings/opportunities that align with member interests .
o Use Get Going and everyday conversation to build the capacity of Healthy Living (Y's Diabetes Prevention Program, Livestrong, etc), Membership, Programming, Personal Training and all that our Association has to support communities in their pursuit of well-being .
Ability to demonstrate safe use of all basic fitness equipment .
Be alert to safety factors and potential hazards.

Supervision of Personnel – None 3.
Fiscal Responsibility .
Receipt money transactions .
Responsible for closing at end of shift, including reconciliation .
Contribute to achievement of membership and financial objectives 4.
Facility/Housekeeping Responsibility .
Ensure that all areas of the Welcome Center, Main Fitness Center, Family Fitness Center, and all studios are neat, clean, and secure.

Conduct maintenance and housekeeping duties including lubricating machines, cleaning upholstery, maintenance duties, and vacuuming.
.
Report Maintenance problems 5.
Interdivisional/Community/Volunteer Responsibility .
Represent the Old Colony Y in a professional manner.

Assist with and support our Annual Campaign.

Promote volunteerism and connect members to programs, people and services based on interest 6.
