The *Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South *is hiring for *Member Services Associate / Building* *Supervisor* in our *Brockton Clubhouse*.
The *Member Services Associate / Building Supervisor* is responsible for: *Member Services Associate* - Provides quality customer service to members, potential members, parents and guests who utilize the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South and to provide support to the staff in carrying out their duties.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* * Actively promote membership enrollment; collect and input all membership applications.
* Ensure that membership files are properly stored and up to date and accessible to senior management staff only.
* Sign members in as they enter the building and track and enter all participants in to the daily attendance each morning/afternoon.
* Track daily, weekly and monthly membership attendance for average daily attendance (ADA).
* Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reports for member tracking.
* Input daily member activity sheets.
* Enforce behavioral/policy issues within membership, delegating respective consequences.
* Process membership billing, renewals and cancellations.
* Record payments for membership, cards and donations.
* Handle all phone communications for the Club and appropriate staff including answering questions and directing calls where needed for appropriate follow-up.
* Provide timely communication and response with all interested requests for information.
*Building Supervisor* - Responsible for the security, safety and building operations of Club facilities.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* * On a prescribed schedule, make “rounds” of all areas to insure normal operations are in place.
* Monitor activities of members to assure proper behavior.
Resolve issues, note incident if follow-up required, inform Executive Director if needed.
* When applicable, complete formal Incident Reports thoroughly and accurately.
* Provide “break relief” for front desk personnel.
* Complete and post checklists as assigned.
* When requested, provide prospective new members tour of building and/or specific areas of interest.
Communicates and promotes benefits of membership.
* Complete “closing checklist”, set alarms, and secure building.
* Check to insure that all sinks and faucets are turned off.
* Where applicable, turn off equipment and lights.
*QUALIFICATIONS:* * High School diploma or GED required.
* Experience working with children.
* Must be organized and reliable.
* Flexibility to work clubhouse hours, especially as seasons and service needs change.
* Must have effective communication skills.
* Must be 21 years of age or older.
* Knowledge of general building maintenance, security, operations.
* Ability to handle and resolve issues of members and staff in a professional manner.
* Ability to react to and resolve issues of a building or equipment nature.
* Ability to respond to emergency situations, assess seriousness, and resolve, seek assistance, and communicate effectively, * Previous experience in dealing with customer service opportunities and issues.
* Ability to communicate and promote membership benefits.
