The chassis inside is like new with no corrosion or dust inside.
It comes complete with the Tascam CS-60 rolling rack and has 12 rack spaces (plus 3 additional spaces at the bottom of the cart section).
Its minimum height is 32" when the rack is tilted all the way to the back in a horizontal position.
The maximum height is about 42" with the rack tilted all the way forward in a full vertical position.
The Tascam CS-60 has four smoothly rolling casters; the front two casters are lockable and work perfectly.
The rear casters are free-rolling.
The framework of the rack and rolling base are incredibly strong, and there is also very strong horizontal and vertical bracing between the two vertical legs.
The tilting hinge has friction brakes on each side to hold the rack in the selected tilt position.
The friction brake handles are large, strong, and easy to grasp for tightening.
There were originally two spring-loaded positioning pins as part of the tilting system.
I replaced the original broken positioning pins with a custom solution: Rather than purchasing replacement index-plungers that are weak hollow tubes, I had two heavy-duty hand grip bolts along with rubber gaskets that allow you to easily do a ¼ twist and adjust the angle of the rack.
My positioning system is far stronger than the original and much easier to use.
Since I installed this upgrade, it has worked perfectly.
Additionally, it comes with a Tascam LS-80 MkII.
The LA-80MKII is an unbalanced to balanced line converter that is equipped with eight channels of unbalanced input to balanced output.
This allows you to take the unbalanced output and plug it into a balanced input of your mixer.
