This is a very nice acoustic / electric violin made by Silver Creek in 2007.
It features good traditional European craftsmanship using quality maple, spruce, and ebony wood.
This makes this violin fully usable as an acoustic instrument.
In addition, the bridge used is one from Barcus Berry that has an integrated transducer for producing an electric signal for amplifying the sound.
Also built into the violin are a 1/4 inch instrument jack and a volume control.
Include are a nice padded case and a NEW carbon fiber bow which is an upgrade from the cheap fiberglass one that originally came with it.
