A variety of cymbals for sale.
Sabian AAX Stage Ride, 20”, very good condition.
$90
Zildjian A series medium thin crash, 16”, good condition.
There is one small ding that doesn’t affect the sound and has never turned into a crack in the 10 years I’ve had it.
$90
Zildjian A series symphonic Viennese, 18”, very good condition.
This is an unusual one.
I’ve used it on my kit as a bright crash/ride.
Really cuts through a mix.
$120
The cymbals below are in DAMAGED/REPAIRED condition.
I have a bunch of cymbals that I bought cracked for the purpose of repairing them by cutting out the cracks with a Dremel.
Most of them sound great, or at least useable.
They aren’t exactly as they were before I cut the cracks out.
And in general, the more material that got cut out, the darker and trashier the cymbal sounds.
Prices are very negotiable.
Some sound like $300 brand new cymbals.
Some sound like metallurgical experiments that might be best used in a stack or as “practice targets”.
Take them all for $150.
Zildjian K series crash ride, 21”, REPAIRED CRACK.
There was a large crack along a groove about 1” from the edge.
I removed a crescent shaped piece along about 1/3 of the edge.
Still sounds great.
$75
Zildjian K series dark crash, 17”, REPAIRED CRACK.
Removed a 2” edge crack.
Changed the sound a lot.
Sounds like a blend of a dark crash and a china cymbal, maybe.
$25
Sabian AAX dark crash, 20”, REPAIRED CRACK.
Very dark, boomy (can a cymbal sound “boomy?”), and trashy.
Lots of material cut out of this one.
More of an “effects” cymbal.
$25
Mixed hi hat pair, Zildjian New Beat bottom, Sabian AA top, 14”, REPAIRED CRACKS.
The New Beat has some flea bites, but no cracks.
The AA had a 1” crack removed.
They sound great.
