Technician Description: This Technician position requires following specific instructions and detailed work orders to manufacture a custom bracing product from measurements, casts and scans.
We make bracing for ankle/feet, scoliosis/spine, and Plagiocephaly/helmeting for infants.
Technician role is required to work ON-SITE and is a full-time position 40 hours per week.
Skills:
Ability to work with hands, including good visual capabilities to assess symmetry.
Use of basic hand tools: drill press, jig saw, hand saw, rotary grinders.
Capability for some heavy lifting of 30 to 50lbs.
Aptitude for basic math skills, including reading tape measurements and following written instructions.
Good reading skills and comprehension skills, as well as the necessity to learn medical terms pertaining to human anatomy.
Basic computer skills to open and send documents, as well as input information.
