Director of Finance

Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Finance manages the financial and accounting departments within the organization.
Duties include evaluating and directing accounting, audit or financial departments, developing financial policies for an organization, and evaluating and improving records systems already in place.
Primary Function Monthly / quarterly / yearly financial statement preparation along with presentation to ownership Annual budget preparation Budget analysis / monitoring and KPI creation Establish profitability standards and financial goals for the company Develops strategies to increase return on investment and profitability Report all financial discrepancies or report findings to upper management Develop ongoing working relationship with bank officials Assist in monitoring and extending awareness concerns to the company billing department Knows and adheres to generally accepted accounted principles and Securities and Exchange Commission rules and regulations Qualifications and Education Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Software Must be able to read, speak and write English Valid Massachusetts Driver license CPA licensure preferred
