JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a qualified, dynamic leader for our Biomed Center Manager position at our Stoughton, MA Biomed Center.

As a biomed manager and site leader, you'll be responsible for providing valuable leadership to the supervisors, biomedical and utility technician teams to leverage our resources and streamline our processes.
In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing/analyzing reports for scheduling purposes and planning general workflow.
Your knowledge of biomedical equipment, workflow management and leading large teams will be invaluable as the site continues to expand.
Managing deadlines is a daily priority as you engage both your leadership team and employees to maximize productivity.
Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the biomed center including receiving, cleaning, preventative maintenance, repair and shipping of biomedical equipment to customer sites across the country.
Ensuring safe operations with highest quality of on site as well as field service teams.
Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
May be responsible for ensuring equipment and parts received from vendors to ensure high level of productivity and minimize downtime.
Monitors and analyzes site costs and may support site budget preparation.
Responsible for a team of supervisors, biomed and utility technicians in the servicing of medical devices such as infusion pumps, vents, enteral pumps and general exam equipment Responsible for attracting, selecting and retaining talent; ensures onboarding of new employees and building team culture while inspiring to achieve productivity goals Drives superior performance through their team members by setting direction, providing feedback, and creating a trust-based, inclusive work environment Able to perform all duties under biomedical technician's responsibilities, including repair, pm, cleaning, shipping, and receiving, warehouse functions as needed Supports key initiatives led by sales and biomed specialist groups and rallies team around achieving commercial objectives Develops employees through regular coaching and feedback; rewards and recognizes employees via ongoing recognition and core pay-for-performance practices Strong ability to influence business results while maintaining positive work environment and culture through utilizing formal and informal authority across the organization Manages activities of a team related to biomed preventative maintenance and repair Develops and directs work schedules and monitors workflow to achieve established goals and objectives; monitors and analyzes cost, working with key vendors associated with site activities Supervises team members who perform assigned tasks.
Interacts with other supervisors, other functional areas, management, and outside vendors to complete objectives.
Ability to exercise independent, sound decision-making along with relationship management and communication skills to balance customer needs and team morale Responsible for supporting all quality related activities pertaining to our ISO 13485:2016 certification as well as other accreditations required by state licensing such as VAWD; serves as designated rep for the site for state licensure Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm CRITICAL SKILLS: Experience managing biomedical or other similar operation Strong team and culture building capability with a focus on building accountability for business results Demonstrated leadership skills, with ability to build morale and promote teamwork, engage workforce and mentor leadership, to include managing managers/supervisors Technical aptitude and willingness to learn Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail, ability to maintain focus with intermittent distractions PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience with Biomedical Equipment - Ability to function at the BMET II or higher-level and capable of troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on a wide variety of medical devices.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with OneTrack or similar Workflow Management Systems preferred Experience managing P&L (profit and loss) PHYSCAL REQUIREMENTS: General Office Demands Position includes standing, sitting, walking in a warehouse environment with changing temperatures Must be able to carry and operate a laptop MINIMUM EDUCATION & TYPICAL EXPERIENCE OR EQUIV.
COMBINATION: Degree or equivalent experience.
Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience.
