Responsibilities:
Shipment Management:
Manage the shipment of all plumbing and heating products, materials, and supplies.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with technicians, project managers, and other stakeholders involved in the ordering of materials and equipment.
Logistics Operations:
Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Promptly unload and load trucks, ensuring the safe handling of all materials.
Sort and stock receivables with accuracy and efficiency.
Sort, stage, and coordinate material and equipment returns to vendors.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space, as well as shipping and receiving areas.
Coordinate and assist with vehicle fleet maintenance to ensure the reliability of transportation.
Inventory Management:
Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves and update inventory in the computer system.
Conduct cycle counts and keep track of materials and inventory levels.
Other Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months of logistics experience.
Forklift Certification.
Prior experience with HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical materials is preferred.
