*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Coordinator/Technician to join our team.
The Sample Manager will be responsible for overseeing the collection, processing, and storage of samples in a laboratory setting.
This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of laboratory information management systems, and experience in molecular biology, microbiology, and clinical laboratory settings.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for research and development and quality control.
*Responsibilities*
- Manage the collection, processing, and storage of samples according to established protocols
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation of samples to maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with chemistry laboratory staff to prioritize sample testing and analysis
- Maintain inventory of supplies and reagents needed for sample collection and analysis
- Perform quality control checks on samples to ensure accuracy and reliability of results
- Troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies with sample collection or analysis
- Collaborate with research and development teams to support ongoing projects
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sample management techniques
*Experience*
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, chemistry, biochemistry)
- 0-2 years experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in molecular biology, microbiology, or clinical laboratory
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data entry
- Strong understanding of research development processes and quality control standards
- Excellent mathematical skills for data analysis and interpretation
