Field Services IT Manager

Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a Field Services IT Manager in a Full-Time capacity for our customer in the Greater Boston Area.
This person will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating IT operations across all our locations nationwide, including incinerators and refineries.
This position requires regular travel, approximately once a month, to ensure seamless IT support and coordination at each site.
The successful candidate will lead a team of 10 strategically located IT professionals and serve as the primary interface between field locations and business/technical teams.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of 10 field IT professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective operations and maintenance of IT systems.
Coordinate with field teams to implement and maintain network controls, security protocols, and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company standards.
Oversee IT infrastructure and systems at incinerator and refinery locations, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
Serve as the liaison between field locations and business/technical teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to address IT-related challenges and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives and support future growth initiatives.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing, machinery control, network systems, and IT security to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure timely delivery of IT services and support.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on field services and manufacturing environments.
Proven experience managing remote teams and coordinating IT operations across multiple locations.
Strong technical background in network infrastructure, systems administration, and IT security.
Experience with machinery control systems and manufacturing processes preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating teams and driving results.
Willingness to travel approximately once a month to field locations across the United States and Canada.
