HR MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Manager will play a vital role in supporting the HR department, new hire onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR policies and compliance, and employee engagement and culture initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: strong interpersonal and communication skills, must be bilingual in both English and Spanish, in-depth knowledge of HR policies and employment laws, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Onboarding:
Drive the onboarding of new hires in collaboration with Hiring Managers, creating a best-in-class experience.
Facilitate and process onboarding steps in Workday.
Employee Relations:
Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
Promote a positive work environment by fostering effective employee relations and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions for employee complaints or disciplinary issues.
Performance Management:
Implement performance management programs to drive employee engagement, productivity, and development.
Support managers in setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate appropriate programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
HR Policies and Compliance:
Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
Provide guidance on legal and regulatory requirements related to employment.
Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
Champion initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Organize and promote employee events, recognition programs, and wellness activities.
Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a respectful and diverse workforce.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree.
5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or a similar HR leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese is a must.
Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, and training and development practices.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications; Workday is a plus.
Experience in providing exceptional employee engagement services to satellite location employees is a must.
Relevant HR certifications (e.
g.
, SHRM-CP or PHR) are highly desirable.
