Snow and Ice Manager

Michael is looking for a Snow and Ice Manager to join our team for the 2023-24 season.
The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, detail orientated and has the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor weather and weather events Thoroughly understand the client's site, scope of work, hours of operation and expectations Participate in snow removal and operate equipment during snow/ice events Proactively prepare resources and communicate plan of action with team Communication with co-workers, clients and office during weather events Ensure all areas under LJM responsibility are adequately, safely and efficiently cleared of snow/ice Coordinate completion of duties, salting and final cleanup Documentation of employee time sheets and site reports Perform post-storm site audits Facilitate post-storm inspections of vehicles and equipment; perform routine maintenance Address client issues, questions and concerns as required QUALIFICATIONS: Available to be on-call 24/7; ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and long hours Ability to work in all weather conditions including extreme cold 5+ years experience of proven experience in snow/ice removal Experienced in operating snow removal vehicles/equipment Mechanical knowledge Excellent problem solving skills Ability to accurately keep records and stay organized utilizing time tracking software and CRM database Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid MA Driver's License REQUIRED; CDL Preferred and MA Hoisting License a plus Experience in landscaping, construction and/or relevant trades BENEFITS: Bonuses Training Incentives Industry License Increases Advancement with Growth Potential Year Round w/Participation in Landscape Operations BDmvwqSyW0
