oCommunicating appropriately and professionally with both parents and fellow staff membersoCorrect English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
oTake initiative in beginning tasks and following them through to completion.
oUnderstand and relate to younger students' milestones and behavior needs.

oValid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency.
Responsibilities: oResponsible for teacher observations, training, coaching, and orientation.
oEstablishing positive and productive relationships with familiesoUnderstanding and implementing SELA Mission, Vision, Health, and safety proceduresoParticipating in recommended training programs and other aspects of professional developmentoOverseeing and supporting classroom functions and operations, including daily reports, Bright Wheel, Teaching Strategies Portfolios, etc.
oResponsible for providing social-emotional and behavioral support across our Early Global Education.
oEarly Education Assistant Director/Behavioral Specialist works directly with our school Teacher coach and the director to provide social-emotional and behavioral support for children, including classroom observation, social-emotional skill instruction, behavior intervention, crisis management, and behavior plan implementation.
oEarly Education Assistant Director/Behavioral Specialist will assist the director in the school's operation.
oProvides direct behavior support in our school settings, including behavior intervention, crisis de-escalation, 1:1 intensive support, behavior intervention plan development and implementation.
oProvides observation, intervention, and instruction to support children's healthy social-emotional development and successful peer interactions.
oProvides education and modeling for educators on positive behavior support, promoting classroom management and behavior intervention.
oWorks with teaching teams to develop and implement individualized support plans, including integrating visual tools, structuring the classroom environment to support behavior goals, and implementing core Pyramid strategies.
oConducts teacher education workshops on healthy social-emotional development, effective limit-setting, managing challenging behavior, and other teacher needs.
oParticipate in School events that can be out of regular hours.
