Position Overview
We have a wonderful Full-Time opportunity to join our Evoke Wellness Clinical team as the Clinical Supervisor.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing 24-hour management of all clinical functions of the facility.
Oversees the entire clinical therapeutic process.
Also responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical staff, has knowledge of the organization, and directs all activities within the facility in accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations.
Reports To: Clinical Director Department/Sub-Department: Clinical Position Responsibilities Adheres to the facility?s philosophy.
Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities.
Functions as leader of Clinical Team.
Evaluates quality of program on an ongoing basis.
Develops cost-effective methods to provide service.
Provides for staff development (i.
e.
supervision, educational, etc.
) Facilitates communication with ancillary services.
Attends clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally.
Meets with clinical staff weekly.
Supervises students completing a field placement under leadership the Clinical Director.
Builds positive relationships with staff and physicians.
Works collaboratively with the Clinical Director.
Demonstrates knowledge of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to communicate these procedures clearly and accurately.
Displays ability to direct and supervise Program activities.
Oversees the patient intake process.
Ensures clinical staff meets educational/licensure requirements.
Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards, on a timely basis.
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
Follows Infection Control guidelines at all times.
Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
Assists in formulating standards for patient care.
Performs other tasks, as assigned.
Being sensitive to Cultural Issues of a patient based on their job position Reporting Suicidality/Homicide of a patient based to their job position.
Ability of competency and understanding to Addition based on their job position.
Reporting and responding to issues of Trauma of a patient based on their job position.
Reporting and responding to issues of Dual ? Diagnosis issues of a patient based on their job position.
Position Requirements Competencies Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.
Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Ethics Knowledge of addictions Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.
Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program.
Knowledge and competency in problem solving, stress management, ethics and team building.
Knowledge of alcohol and other drugs that includes; Alcohol and addictive drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual impact on the individual.
Alcohol and addictive drugs and their impact on the family.
Ability to determine if a medical emergency exists and to take appropriate action, when necessary.
Knowledge of emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose.
Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.
Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction, including: Confidentiality Patient Rights Professional Code of Ethics, Discrimination Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description which are related to work as a member of an addiction treatment team.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.
e.
Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.
) and Google Suite (i.
e.
Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.
) Education & Work Experience Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master?s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or mental health-related field.
A minimum of 2 years? management setting familiarity, with continuous Quality Improvement, JCAHO standards.
Commission skills to relate to all levels of management staff.
Licensed to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state, as applicable, required, or licensed eligible CPR Certification required Schedule Hours vary depending on the needs of the program Physical & Travel Demands Standing & Walking 26-50% Lifting 1-20lbs Evoke Wellness, LLC.
