The Pool Supervisor (age 18+) is responsible for leading the daily directives of our aquatic facilities.
This is a SEASONAL, full-time position and reports to the Assistant General Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Duties
Train staff on policies
Complete required reports on a timely basis
Assist with scheduling staff, monitoring payroll, and maintaining compliance with labor budget
Daily Duties
Maintains constant surveillance of guests in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of guests in the event of an emergency
Ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies
Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
Comply with all aquatic facility rules
Other Essential Duties
Collaborate with park and home office departments
Respond to guest inquiries using the company’s service recovery guidelines
Utilize and learn reservation system for daily planning
Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service
Required to perform the same tasks as the individuals they supervise
Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Experience in customer service and hospitality preferred

Basic computer skills
Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Able to move up to 100 lbs
Must be able to remain in a stationary position
Regularly move throughout the pool area
Able to perform strenuous physical tasks necessary for a water rescue
Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
Use arms and hands to reach, lift, and operate life-saving equipment
Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
Able to continuously scan all areas of the pool with a clear vision
Able to adequately hear noises and distinguish distress signals
Able to communicate verbally, including projecting the voice across distance in every day and loud situations
