Wholesale Manager

Trillium Brewing is seeking a dynamic and experienced Wholesale Sales Manager to lead and expand our wholesale business segment.
This role encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including planning and analysis, distributor management, and leadership.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales within the Beverage Alcohol Industry, demonstrate exceptional relationship-building skills, and have a keen understanding of market dynamics.
This on- site position will report directly to the Director of Consumer Packaged Goods based in our Canton, MA location.
Leadership:
Lead and manage the local in-house sales team and oversee distributor relationships outside of Massachusetts.
Be accountable for the performance and profitability (P&L) of the wholesale business segment.
Conduct monthly team meetings to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and strategies.
Foster a culture of excellence, alignment, and continuous improvement within the team.
Planning and Analysis:
Develop and execute sales plans and budgets to surpass net sales targets as approved by the Leadership Team.
Lead strategic decisions within on- and off-premise market channels, focusing on long-term growth and sustainability.
Formulate pricing strategies and conduct thorough analysis of channel business for chain, independent, and wholesale sectors.
Regularly assess and modify plans based on market performance, product allocations, and inventory levels.
Monitor competitive, consumer, and pricing trends to inform internal sales strategies.
Conduct business review meetings with distributors to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
Distributor Management:
Oversee business performance, actively engage with distributors and local accounts, and ensure consistent adherence to brand standards.
Act as the primary liaison for distributor partners, working closely with distributor managers for optimal business management and execution.
Guarantee successful execution of all commercial plans within the distributor channel.
Maintain a comprehensive planning schedule with wholesale partners, including annual, quarterly, and monthly agendas.
Experience Needed:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a similar field
5+ years of sales experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with accounts, distributors, and team members
Ability to provide constructive feedback to business partners
In-depth knowledge of on- and off-premise business in Massachusetts and the three-tier distribution system across the US
Proven ability to build and sustain an effective, results-producing team
Adherence to strict timelines and responsiveness to business issues in a timely manner
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and balance multiple deadlines
