The OCY is seeking a licensed eligible Clinician withexperience working with clinical issues of children and adolescents.
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of DBT and have the abilitytowork effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.
The OCY's juvenile justice programming includes a residential network for youth ages 13 to 21 who are court-involved and need placement while awaiting return to court, assessment, or longer-term treatment.
These highly structured, self-contained programs offer a comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders.
Responsibilities: Provide individual and family therapy weekly in accordance with DYS, DEEC and ECHS policies and procedures Participate in the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans Provide case management and advocacy for youth as needed Facilitate curriculum-based treatment groups in DBT, Substance abuse, and Risk Reduction Schedule: Flexible Hours Qualifications Skills Preferred Ability to write clearly Advanced Limit Setting Advanced Computer Software Skills Advanced Clinical Skills Advanced Education Required: MA or better in Social Work or related field.
