SUMMARY:
The HR/People Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of a startup HR function at John M.
Corcoran & Co.
JMC is a family-owned multi-family rental property management and development company with over 350 employees and over 70 properties under management in the Greater Boston area.

This represents a fantastic opportunity to learn more and expand your horizons! This role encompasses Strategic HR Project Management, Change Management, HRIS, HR Operations, and Reporting and Analysis, and reports directly to the Chief People & Culture Officer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Strategic HR Project Management
•Develops and defines project infrastructure (governance, work plans, timelines, resources, milestones, KPI’s etc.
) for all HR strategic initiatives.
•Manages deliverables and project execution activities from the initiation phase through post-live support, including needs assessment, build, implementation, analytics, innovation, maintenance, and enhancements.
•Leads meetings and manages communication with project teams to ensure milestones are met, stakeholders are informed, teams are aligned, and priorities are clear.
Change Management
•Ensures the adoption of new technologies and new processes using proven change management methods.
•Creates and delivers employee communications and training in support of process and technology change.
HRIS
•Deploys new HRIS applications by participating and contributing to all the phases of technology projects.
•Provides leadership and recommendations in the design, development, and automation of HRIS to maximize productivity, efficiency, and support organizational objectives.
•Collaborates with IT to build, test and deploy the integrations, reports, workflows, and dashboards.
•Maintains awareness of current trends in HR technologies and proposes technical solutions.
HR Operations
•Proactively identifies gaps in JMC systems and operations, recommends changes and improvements to systems, tools, functionality, and processes.
•Builds operational excellence of the HR operations, systems, and processes and promotes continuous process improvement practices which drive automation, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.
Reporting and Analysis
•Originates and leads HR’s data management and analytics efforts to support informed and timely decisions for our People Leaders.
•Creates standard and ad hoc people metrics and reports through automated processes.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate loves the process of solving business problems with automation and technology solutions!
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required and 7+ years of HR/HR Operations/HRIS experience is preferred.
Recent experience should include implementing an HR technology product or application and use of ADP, SAP, or similar technology.
The ideal candidate will also have experience with MS Office (advanced MS Excel skills preferred) and proficiency with Microsoft Power BI (or similar) preferred.
