A supervisory position.
Senior member of team responsible for the support, evaluation, and treatment of adults with developmental disabilities living in a residential setting.
Supervise, evaluate, and train staff.
Oversee clinical and administrative services and related paperwork.
Coordinate daily schedule of program operation.
Provide shift coverage as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Responsible for covering all shifts in assigned program(s) in an efficient and cost-effective manner through responsible scheduling of full-time, part-time, and relief staff, and personally covering open shifts as necessary.
Implement all behavior plan interventions as assigned.
These behavioral interventions may include physical restraint.
Maintain valid Driver’s License and provide transportation as required by program.
Coordinate all medical, dental, therapeutic, and related service appointments.
Administer medications, as required, in accordance with medication administration procedures.
Work in conjunction with Program Director in interviewing, training, and evaluating staff.
Supervise program staff, facilitate monthly supervision meetings using established format.
Meet deadlines on all administrative and clinical paperwork as assigned by Program Director.
Assist and train Direct Care in all phases of ISP development, implementation, and evaluation.
This includes ensuring time lines are met on assessments, objectives, implementation strategies, behavior plans, contracts, and interventions.
Perform direct care duties as needed which include: instruct, supervise and evaluate individuals in all areas of community living as outlined in each support plan.

Attend meetings regarding individuals under supervision.
Conduct weekly staff meetings and meet with supervisor weekly.
Monitor all program spending and adhere to budget limits.
Keep accurate employee work records including monitoring and scheduling mandated staff trainings.
Participate in on-the-job training and provide coaching to new co-workers as directed.
Oversee house maintenance by coordinating with Operations Department.
Complete bi-weekly payroll.
Maintain contact with individual’s families/guardians, Day Program staff, and/or other relevant parties.
Maintain QUEST evaluation standards.
Continue professional development by attending at least 6 in-service trainings, workshops, or seminars each year.
Develop, implement, and modify, as necessary, mini Exposure Control Plan to comply with OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.
Train staff accordingly.
Adhere to agency safety standards.
Perform additional duties, or substitute for others as required, including other programs.
Adhere to all RTR policies and procedures.
Develop and provide all services in accordance with RTR’s philosophies including staff and Board beliefs.
BA/BS in Human Service discipline preferred.
Previous residential experience and supervisory experience required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
Successful completion and maintenance of all state and agency mandated trainings, including medication administration.
Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be fluent in English and have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals under supervision, employees of the organization, families, and members of the community.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
