Job Summary
HYBRID- Norwell, MA
The Construction Coordinator will serve as the go-to-person and will provide administrative support to the Construction team.
In this role you will manage a wide portfolio of complex administrative responsibilities.
An ideal candidate is passionate about the industry and brings high standards to managing complex administrative projects.
The ideal candidate will be hyper-organized, deadline driven, proactive and will operate with a sense of urgency.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and will organize workload while managing expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Release mall deposits (refundable / non-refundable)/check requests and additional documentation required for project start.
Support field supervision with temp labor, utility, and equipment (dumpsters, lifts, porta potty, etc.
) needs, as required and/or directed within the project team.
Research permit availability/tracking and prepare, submit and/or record documentation for local municipality officers, as required.
Review, document and understand client contract terms.
Manage those terms and ensure adherence to mitigate Menemsha's Liability, (i.
e.
: Insurance, billing terms, bonds, weekly deliverables from team).
Document Control- Monitor plan revisions, distribute to field, subcontractors, project team-as directed by PM.
Secure/Release POs for Material, Finish purchases, as negotiated and directed by PM.
Track timeliness of responses for RFI's, change orders, submittals etc.
to support project/program schedule.
Coordinate timely closeout of project.
Support project team with receiving & processing project submittals for PM Review, as required.
Support preparation of project/program specific reporting, as required by contract/client/internal.

: Weekly client reports, project schedule updates, program master schedule updates.
), as directed by PM/APM.
Respond to subcontractor, vendor payment inquiries, as needed.
Process Prelim, as required.
Provide client specific training and direction as needed.
Comprehensive project updates in OPM (Menemsha’s online project management system).
Attend program/project meetings as needed.
Maintain meeting notes and team deliverables.
Timberline data entry.

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong client service orientation, willingness to learn, strong work ethic and diligent.

Basic Construction knowledge preferred but not required.

Education & Experience
Previous experience providing complex administrative support, preferably in Construction or a related field.
Higher education and/or certifications related to Construction Management preferred.
Two (2) years’ work/construction field experience preferred.
Solid knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
Timberline knowledge a plus.
