General Description:
The Team Lead design engineer will serve as a technical expert and resource for pre- and post- sale opportunities.
This role will involve people management and senior design engineer core responsibilities.
The Team Lead will be assisting and overseeing with reviewing customer requirements, proposing design solutions, evaluating equipment placement, field conditions, and drafting design solutions.
Collaborate with project management and be accountable for implementing the project road map and project plan on time, achieving goals with a high level of quality.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, bringing together elements of design, troubleshooting, and analysis to provide seamless technology integration.
Be a trusted resource, driving customer growth and adoption of additional SIGNET offerings.
Provide strong leadership to a team of design engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Guide team members in their professional development, performance improvement, and career growth.
Assist and partner with the People team to hire, develop, and retain talent.
Work Experience Requirements:
Ability to optimize customer technology integrations in large-scale environments.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts with technical and non-technical audiences.
3+ years of experience in a lead or people management role
5+ years of experience in solution design, solution architecture, or implementation
5+ years of experience installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, or integrating networking/audio visual/security/managed service technologies.
Skill Requirements:
Excellent communicator with strong ability to motivate and lead others
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where each day provides a new set of challenges under limited time constraints involving complex configuration and/or troubleshooting requirements.
Strong project and time management skills: can manage multiple projects with competing timelines.
Strong foundational understanding of system integrations and how different technologies interact.
Education Requirements:
A degree or equivalent work experience in engineering or networking (or a closely related field) that proves your love for making things work.
Comments:
Role will be based in Norwell, MA office.
Initial onboarding will require on-site presence 5 days a week.
