Job Summary:
Performs all aspects of PET imaging to include greeting patient, explanation of PET procedure, set-up and injection of patient, scanning patient, processing images, and following acceptable radiation safety practices.
Also responsible for: the archival of data; overseeing the maintenance and quality control of scanner, trailer, and other equipment; ordering of supplies; return of paperwork to the office/billing; liaison to the Technical and Medical Directors.
Requirements:
Licensed to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
A minimum of 3 years working as a PET technologist
Current certificate in ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB.
Current certificate in PET and CT.
Salary: $37.
