Entry Requirements Minimum Qualifications 1 year's experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees.
Assists management with the supervision of associates by assigning duties; communicating goals and feedback; teaching and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures; supporting the Open Door Policy; and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
Assists management by opening or closing facility as needed.
Leads overnight Apparel team operations by prioritizing merchandise (featured items and high volume items) for placement on the sales floor; inspecting the sales floor to determine stocking needs; reviewing transition plans; verifying staffing schedules to ensure business needs can be met with allotted staffing; leading team meetings; and pulling re-calls from club shelves.
Maintains the sales floor in the Apparel areas of the club in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns; zoning the area; arranging and organizing merchandise; and identifying shrink and damaged product.
Oversees the process of receiving and stocking of merchandise and organizes and maintains the Apparel areas by following company procedures; utilizing equipment appropriately; merchandising; and completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
Follows company policies and procedures for the Apparel areas by monitoring merchandise quality, and product recalls; correctly merchandising apparel categories; ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise; and stocking, zoning, and cleaning the department.
Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.
Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges.
This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department.
An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary.
