The *Human Resource Director* will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including all recruitment efforts (posting, sourcing, and interviewing staff), administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
The HR Director must have general knowledge of Employment Laws and Practice and the ability to apply accordingly.
Experience in the administration and record keeping of benefits, compensation programs is required.
The HR Director must have excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills, and be well organized and provide record keeping data, as needed.
The HR Director will keep apprised of current trends in HR.

*Duties/Responsibilities:* * Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
* Provides support and guidance to Leadership team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
* Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
They must ensure diversity, equity and inclusion best practices are utilized throughout the recruitment process * Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
* In cooperation with the Director of QA and Training and the Director of Service Operations, creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
* Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
* Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
* Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
* Manage the onboarding, off boarding, Workers Comp, performance review, unemployment, COBRA, FMLA, and exit interview processes.
* Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
* Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
* Assist with the implementation and administration of the organization’s policies and procedures.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
