*Kitchen & Catering Manager* Kitchen Manager: oversee all Back of House operations and be responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner, according to established recipes, and procedures.
As a Kitchen Manager, your responsibilities would include: * Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures * In conjunction with all Management, enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests at all times * Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times * Overseeing the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items * Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures * Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs * Directing work for kitchen employees, including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during and after open hours of the restaurant * Training Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures *Catering Manager* Senior Catering Event Manager: key leadership role that is responsible for leading the catering operations and is responsible for planning and the execution of catering orders and special events.
Additionally, this position will lead all aspects of and advise the catering team to implement all events in line with customer expectations.
*Job Responsibilities* * Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers needs * Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport * Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events * Facilitate the delivery of prepared food built from banquet event orders * Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients needs * Train and direct catering employees to ensure catering and events standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation * Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and handle quality assurance with all requests * Responsible for delivering sales, food, and labor targets and maintaining department budgets * Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management * Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivable * Recruit, train, schedule, and lead Catering team * Ensure compliance with all food, occupational and environmental safety policies *Qualifications* * Requires at least 3 years of experience * Requires at least 1-3 years of experience in a management role * Previous experience in events and catering required * Available to work event-based hours * Must have excellent communications skills * Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required * Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
