Responsibilities involve preparing high quality food for the core Foodservice and the Company Restaurant offers, quickly and efficiently, and guiding other team members in food safety measures, production process and presentation standards.
In this role, you would work to ensure that our guests receive the highest quality food items in a timely, easy and pleasant manner.
This position will support the Food Service Restaurant Manager as well as the C-Store Manager, in addition to other team members in the store and restaurant, delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience and a working environment that promotes engagement and living the Company values.
Responsibilities: Greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated.
Manage food stock levels, food costs and waste, preparation, presentation and food safety requirements for hot and cold prepared food and beverage items.
Learn and utilize the R365 Back of House system to ensure that the recipes and food prep procedures are followed.
Ensure that food is wrapped and labeled correctly and the waste and inventory is managed appropriately.
Adhere to the production guidance and schedule to drive sales and control waste.
Strive to achieve company sales goals for the foodservice and company restaurants by maintaining proper stock levels and proper rotation of all food products in the foodservice area, including dispense beverages, and within the Company Restaurant to ensure that we are in-stock and our guests have the selection they want Oversee the Food service and Company Restaurant area, ensuring that the presentation and work areas are kept clean, maintain company standards, adhering to standard food safety preparation and sanitization protocols, and maintenance of equipment.
Provide training, feedback, coaching and direction to fellow team members on the foodservice and company restaurant offer preparation, presentation and safety requirements.
And maintain a strong working relationship with third party vendor (Steritech/Ecolab) - monitoring and training on proper temperatures, holding times and waste processes (recordkeeping).
Effectively operate the C-store and restaurant registers, processing sales transactions in an efficient and friendly manner to minimize guest wait time.
Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store (inside and out), working alongside the other c-store and foodservice team members ensuring that the coffee station, fountain beverage and the foodservice and restaurant area is clean and well stocked.
Participate in the maintenance of the bathrooms to keep them clean and up to our guests expectations.
Assist C-Store team with day to day operation needs, stocking, cleaning, and safety measures.
Monitor product levels for the restaurant and in the foodservice sales area, dispense beverage area, in addition to coolers and hot food cases, rotating stock and keeping product levels full to achieve daily and weekly sales goals.
In the absence of the Food Service Manager, complete POS closing and R365 reports, provide sales and waste data for inclusion in PDI to support the execution of all paperwork for the daily close for the store.
Lead by example in execution of Company values, programs, processes and policies.
Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Food Service and Company Restaurant Manager and/or Store Manager.
Working Relationships: Guest Service Associates, Food Service Associates, Food Service Restaurant Manager, Store Manager, Company Restaurant Operations support, Foodservice Category Management team, Guest Service Leads, Site Manager, District Manager, Region Manager, Operations VP, other Company personnel, and various vendors.
Requirements & Qualifications: Minimum Education: N/A Preferred Education: High School or GED Minimum Experience: 6 months retail or food experience Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, service or restaurant environment Licenses/Certifications: Serv Safe Certified a plus but not mandatory Soft Skills: Ability to learn and execute the systems required to manage the company restaurant, including operation of the POS and use of the tools and information available in the R365 Back of House system Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members High energy Ability to move from one activity to another quickly Team oriented; willing to give extra effort to help others Other: Reporting:Code 3486 - designates that this person works in a proprietary food restaurant inside one of our store unites, has duties in both sides of the house and reports to the Food Service Restaurant Manager Scheduling: Will be normally be scheduled to work nights and weekends on opposite shifts from the Food Service Manager.
