As we continue to expand our operations and reach, we are seeking a Director of Learning and Development to lead our talent development initiatives and ensure that our team members have the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles.
As the Director of Learning and Organization Development, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and values.
You will play a pivotal role in nurturing the growth and potential of our employees and contribute to their success and satisfaction within the company.
This position is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home and is based in East Taunton, MA.

Responsibilities:
The Director of Learning and Organization Development is responsible for the overall design, development, execution and administration of organizational learning and development strategy, programs, policies, and procedures.
Ensures that the learning and development programs support the organization’s strategic objectives.
Develops learning and development programs to enhance human capital capabilities and support a strong employee learning and development culture.
Introduces new learning and development programs to support changing strategic objectives.
Reviews key performance metrics to accurately measure workforce performance and identify areas for improvement.
Anticipates future skills gaps and designs new learning and development programs to support these needs.
Proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization.
Builds relationships with third party resources, vendors, and partners to create and deliver innovative learning models.
Offers hands-on coaching and guidance to leaders as a recognized learning and development subject matter expert.
Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics.
Interviews, hires, trains, supervises, motivates, evaluates and coaches learning and development staff.
Reviews training and procedure manuals for departments throughout the company, and partners with management to ensure full and proper implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in training and development, instructional design, adult education, or related field
8-10 years of experience in training and organizational development including the design, development, and delivery of training programs
Working knowledge of learning and development best practices, tools, and methodologies
Virtual learning experience desired
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent skills in project management, problem solving, teamwork, consulting, and leadership
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English
