Landscape is seeking an experienced crew leader/working supervisor in South Shore Massachusetts.
As a part of this position, you will be tasked with managing the maintenance division of our business including ensuring that lawn crews are achieving daily production goals, using proper techniques, and delivering high quality work in seasonal cleanups, edging, dethatching of lawns, weekly mowing, and other maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate will not only be able to assist in organizational tasks (scheduling, etc) but also help crews where needed.
Responsibilities:
* Teach and train team members to ensure proper procedures, processes and quality of work are followed and achieved
* Maintain and care for company property, equipment, tools, and vehicles.
* Managing crews through the completion of projects and maintenance tasks
* Direct, oversee, and participate in work performed (including various landscaping tasks such as digging, planting, and maintaining gardens.

* Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines.

Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of landscape scheduling, project management, and crew management
- Previous experience in landscaping or property maintenance practices
-Ability to work independently and keep lawn crews on task, organized, and identify areas where efficiency can be improved and optimized
- Ability to safely drive company vehicles including a dump truck and trailer
-Ability to operate machinery including the following: excavator, skid steer, compactor, transit level, grinders and saws.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Manage teams effectively while fostering a strong culture
- Quality control and attention to detail
- Highly motivated and results driven
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to work effectively with individuals of different backgrounds, knowledge, and skill levels
License / Certification:
Driver's License DOT Certificate (Required)
