SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for managing defined IT projects and working with the various internal teams to drive our initiatives to completion.
Our PMO organization acts as the primary conduit of information between the IT and stakeholder teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Function as the Project Manager on assigned strategic projects, managing a portfolio of application, integration and infrastructure related projects
Develop project plans, goals, and budgets; identify resource needs and allocations
Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables, and implement change requests where necessary
Implement document control policies and documentation templates
Ensure compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures and standards
Compile project reports and inform stakeholders and management regarding problems
Responsible for setting and tracking against team KPI's / goals, including shorter project duration, on time delivery, scope completion, and good CSAT / client project experience score.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other team leads and stakeholders, such as project personnel, vendors and end-users
Facilitate and manage project stand up and escalation meetings.
Serve as an important escalation path; interact with stakeholders and manage vendor relationships as needed.
Manage and maintain System Documentation and Defined Best Practices
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibility
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required, PMO certification preferred.
3+ years of technical project or program experience.
Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals
Outstanding leadership, organizational and time management skills
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and end experience.
Extensive experience with Jira/Slack/Agile, including building out project management workflows, reports and well-maintained knowledge base.
Experience with selecting and implementing project management tools.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays based on business needs.
