Position Overview/Introduction: Ocean Spray is hiring for a Procurement Manager on our Procurement team in Lakeville! We’re a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers.

Position location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA location with Mondays & Fridays remote.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of indirect materials and services.
Your focus will be on negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and maintain quality standards.
The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Additionally, you will help build a high-achieving supply chain and provide sourcing support across the Cooperative.
What You’ll Be Responsible For: Builds and executes strategies related to the assigned indirect categories/commodities to support aggressive improvements in total cost effectiveness, supplier quality, enhanced service levels, supply chain continuity, delivery, pricing, lead-times, payment, including a strong emphasis on creating, nurturing, and enhancing supplier relationships while focusing on mitigating risk.
Executes category sourcing strategies including development and execution of RFI’s and RFP’s, develops selection criteria and drives the selection of suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams; conducts supplier negotiations and contracting, and coordinates with stakeholders on program implementation and ongoing supplier management.
Develops and maintains a highly effective collaborative working relationship with leadership and cross functional partners as it relates to strategy development for innovation, productivity, quality, service, and continuous improvement.
Actively seeks opportunities to streamline business processes.
Researches and provides information on category/commodity trends and best practices.
Develops negotiation strategies, gains alignment from stakeholders, leads cross-functional, category-based negotiation teams, and implements appropriate risk analysis.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s Degree required with 5-7 of relevant experience SAP/Oracle Electronic commerce (i.
e.
, EDI, Internet, etc.
