UP Part-time Professional Tutor (Respiratory Therapy) - Massasoit Community College

Location: Brockton, MA Category: Adjunct Faculty - Pool Posted On: Fri Nov 3 2023 Job Description: The tutor will provide in-person and/or online tutoring services to Respiratory Therapy students including subject matter in Respiratory Therapy and mathematical concepts in Respiratory Therapy.
Responsibilities and Duties: Provide subject tutoring in Respiratory Therapy subject matter and mathematical concepts in Respiratory Therapy Provide one-on-one and group tutoring Coordinate with Respiratory Therapy faculty on subject matter as needed THIS POOL IS VALID THROUGH JUNE 30, 2024.

Professional Tutors are part time employees hired on an as needed basis.
Positions may consist of day, night, or weekend positions and may be in Brockton, Canton, Middleborough, or any other instructional site.

Job Requirements: Associate's degree or certification in Respiratory Therapy Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching or tutoring in a Respiratory Therapy program Knowledge of mathematical concepts and functions in Respiratory Therapy Additional Information: Part-time, Non-benefited Massachusetts Community College Council (MCCC) union position.
This position is subject to grant funding (Perkins Grant) and is contingent upon availability of funds.
Hours: Vary, not to exceed 936 hours annually.
Semester: Fall 2023, Spring 2024 Salary: $ 30.
03 Hourly Schedule: Tutoring hours are based on demand for services, compatibility of schedules, and staffing needs.
Tutors are scheduled on a semester-by-semester basis.
Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites.
