Varsity Girls Assistant Track & Field Coach - Field Events

An independent school for girls in grades 6-12, inspired by the teachings of the Catholic Church, Montrose School was founded in 1979 and is located on a 13 acre campus in downtown Medfield, 17 miles southwest of Boston.

Montrose seeks a part-time Varsity Girls Assistant Indoor Track and Field Coach for Field Events from December 2023 - March 2024 .
The Assistant Coach will be present for and assist in running of practices Wednesday & Friday starting at 3:30 PM that are approximately 1.
75 hours in duration.
Meet days will require a greater time commitment, with occasional weekend meets.
Specific Responsibilities: Train student athletes in the field events specifically jumps and throws Assess athletes’ skills, monitor athletes during competition and practice and provide guidance for athletes to improve Instill the values of respect, team spirit, passion, teamwork, and dedication Improve skills, confidence, and commitment in all athletes Ability to drive the team vehicle to and from practice or meets if needed Experience Requirements: Prior playing and coaching experience An understanding of the rules and regulations of the sport Knowledge of effective skills and strategies that contribute to team growth and success Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree CPR Certification (may complete upon hiring) Licensed and ability to drive All activities and behaviors should meet appropriate professional standards and adhere to the philosophy and mission of Montrose School.
