The Silver Lake Regional School District and Superintendency Union #31 districts are seeking multiple certified teachers to work in the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
Key Responsibilities:
Review student IEPs to inform planning, development of curriculum and preparation of ESY services.
Develop ESY classroom programming to maintain student abilities during the five week program, as outlined in their IEP goals.
Coordinate and schedule related services with the providers (Speech, OT, PT, Rules Based Reading) as needed, during the ESY program.
Keep attendance for students and collect data, as needed.

Communicate with parents.
Work collaboratively with the ESY staff, ESY coordinator and other building personnel.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

ESY programs serve students aged 3-22
Days & times of services:
Grades K-12+: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
PreK: Students will have a two-day schedule of either Monday/Tuesday Wednesday/Thursday from 8:30 - 12:00 p.
m.
In addition to times outlined above, educators will be paid for an additional 90 minutes of planning time each day, which may occur on-site or off-site
Data collection / progress monitoring collected weekly in regards to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Compensation for this assignment will be $40 per hour.
