Qualifications
*Required Skills and Experience:*
* CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
* Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willing to obtain)
* 1 year professional experience working with children
* Lift a minimum of 40 pounds to your waist regularly, and work indoors or outdoors (often on the floor)
* Have survival skills to spend a day of work without your phone (bonus: mental health benefits of 8 hours off social media)
* Ability to sit on a circle time rug for extended periods and interact fully with the children keeping them safe, and engaged
* Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English (Bonus if you speak Baby Babble and Toddler Trivia - what did he say?)
* All center staff applicants must meet state specific guidelines for the role
