Rising Tide Charter Public School is seeking a long-term substitute for the role of Middle School teacher of Social Studies (Grade 7).
This role is needed through the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
Applicants should possess teaching/tutoring experience or, at a minimum, educational background in the discipline of Social Studies.
Responsibilities include teaching core academic classes, managing classroom expectations, drafting progress reports and report cards, and collaborating with other teachers to develop accommodations and modifications.
Applicants must have successfully completed an approved undergraduate or graduate program in liberal arts with a focus in Social Studies.
Licensure in Massachusetts, or an equivalent license from another state, is not required but is strongly preferred.
