BAMSI is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization founded in Brockton, Massachusetts, with a vision of driving change and creating equal opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental and behavioral health challenges.
Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc.
(BAMSI) was incorporated on March 21, 1975 as South Shore Multi-Services Inc.
, under Chapter 180 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as a not-for-profit human service organization.
On July 9, 1975, it changed its name to Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc.
It was formed for the development, coordination, and delivery of integrated human service programs, and according to its website, its mission is “to empower people and enrich their lives, through compassionate support and diverse services, one individual, one family a time.
” BAMSI employees up to 2,000 people and operates adult, child, and family services, assisting approximately 30,000 individuals each year in Worcester, Middlesex, Norfolk, Bristol, and Plymouth Counties.

Responsibilities:
1.
Assist therapists in groups and/or individual treatment settings as needed.
2.
Set up and clean up individual group services at BAMSI Early Intervention, this would include preparation of art and snack.
This will also include following COVID-19 cleaning protocols before and after each group session.
3.
Ensuring children are transitioning safely on and off transportation vehicles, are clean and have all their belongings for return trip home.
4.
Prepare charts and necessary documentation for intakes and evaluations.
5.
Creating a system to track evaluations and processing the completed evaluations (EICS, send to parents/PCPs/schools).
6.
General housekeeping and clerical duties as needed.
7.
Pick up supplies for snack and art supplies as needed.
8.
Perform duties to reflect agency and program policies and procedures.
9.
Execute duties to reflect reasonable safety standards.
Standard/Universal precautions must be utilized and training obtained in areas that constitute risk.
10.
Perform other related work duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor or designee.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood desired
· Must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence.
EXPERIENCE:
· Experience with developmentally delayed children 0-3 years old desired.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· Ability to relate and interact with professionals and clients with flexibility and patience.
· Ability to follow instructions and directions.
· Bilingual speaking individual desired.
