### Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Grade 5 Elementary School Teacher to join our team.
As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students in grades K-5.
Your role will involve implementing science and social studies curriculum, managing classroom behavior, and fostering a love of learning.
### Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Incorporate technology and learning tools into lessons to enhance student understanding
- Foster literacy education by promoting reading comprehension, writing skills, and critical thinking
- Support students with special needs, including those with autism, by adapting curriculum and providing individualized instruction
### Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies
- Proficiency in literacy education, including reading comprehension and writing skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom, including behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and their integration into lessons
